We’re excited to welcome Dave Chandler to Carrot Fertility as our new Chief Financial Officer. Chandler is a finance and operations leader with more than 25 years of experience serving in executive roles, including over a decade of experience in healthcare. He specializes in delivering key infrastructure and strategic support to scale high-growth software and services companies. Throughout his career, Chandler has focused on significant capital fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and initial public offerings for tech and healthcare organizations.
“I’m excited to join a team that’s making a positive impact on millions of people’s lives,” said Chandler. “I was immediately drawn to Carrot’s mission of fertility care for all, and see tremendous potential for further expansion. I couldn’t be prouder to join the leadership team as we enter our next growth phase.”
Chandler joins Carrot at a time when fertility benefits are in higher demand than ever before. In the last year alone, Carrot doubled its customer base to more than 850 companies globally with availability in more than 130 countries. In his role, Chandler will report directly to CEO and Founder Tammy Sun and will focus on Carrot’s continued growth and global expansion.
“I’m pleased to welcome Dave to the team,” said Sun. “Dave brings an incredible wealth of financial and operational experience to Carrot, with a strong track record leading fast-growing tech and healthcare companies.”
Prior to joining Carrot, Chandler was the CFO of project44, a leading provider of real-time visibility software that enables the management of freight shipments for Fortune 500 customers, carriers, and logistics providers globally. In this role, he led capital-raising efforts to secure over $800M of equity capital, completed six domestic and international acquisitions, and oversaw rapid global expansion. During this time, valuation increased to $2.7 billion.
Chandler has also held CFO positions at other companies, including Discovery Health Partners and Fruition Partners, both of which he led through capital raising, hypergrowth, and acquisitions, with each company having a successful strategic exit. He also held multiple senior financial roles at Diamond Technology Partners over 12 years, helping steer the organization through an IPO, multiple follow-on offerings, four acquisitions, and rapid global expansion, ultimately reaching a $3 billion valuation.
Chandler holds a MBA/MM degree from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University and received his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University.
