Carrot continues to demonstrate exceptional fertility and family-building outcomes for our members. In our newly published 2024 Carrot IVF Outcomes Study, based on the most comprehensive data set submitted for independent validation across all fertility benefits programs, our findings show a positive impact on in vitro fertilization (IVF), promoting healthier singleton pregnancies, and achieving live births.

Our rates not only outperform any competitors of scale at the time of publication but also significantly surpass national averages, including:

  • IVF pregnancy rate: 23% above the national average
  • IVF live birth rate: 24% above the national average
  • IVF pre-term birth rate: 41% lower than the national average
  • IVF multiple birth rate: 63% lower than the national average

Carrot once again engaged Milliman, Inc., a globally respected independent actuarial firm, to assess Carrot’s measurement methodology for calculating outcomes metrics and comparing them against national data from the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART). Milliman found that Carrot’s methodology for measuring fertility management performance relative to national benchmarks is consistent with industry practices. Milliman did not review Carrot’s methodology for assessing performance compared to competitors. Milliman’s report may be found here

The full Carrot report revisits key metrics previously reported and highlights notable advancements in success rates, including Carrot’s industry-leading single embryo transfer (SET) rate, IVF pregnancy rate, and pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT-A) rate.

These meaningful improvements to clinical outcomes are good news for everyone. Carrot’s personalized, evidence-based plans offer flexibility and support that translate to measurable returns on investment for our customers, partners, and members. For example, our higher live-birth rate means fewer IVF cycles for Carrot members and lower healthcare costs for businesses.

We are proud of these results and our platform that continues to help so many people build their families with more success. We look forward to sharing even more good news with you in the future.
